the ‘maintenance’ staff has a history of poor work.

these are only examples …most are more minor….

they almost blew up the complex about a year ago by digging up a gas pipe–and didn’t even notice

they haven’t serviced the heating system properly.

there are 4 buildings in the complex

today the Fire Department was here..and 1 of the basement heating systems was found to have carbon monoxide 1000 parts per million

they did not evacuate the building..they only checked about 25% of the apartments–including the one who CO detector went off…none of the others had any readings–the one that did was about 20 parts per million…luckily our building is very drafty due to the poor maintenace!

they did not check the other buildings

i only know because i was able to over hear their radios

i am concerned that the same lack of proper maintenance that caused the problem in building 1 may exist in the other 3 buildings

this is in a small suburban town in NJ–who do i contact to report my concerns?

btw–after the staff almost blew up the building–their 5 year contract was renewed..

there are a lot of illegal administrative things going on–its on record with the state–but no one can do anything about it
THE FD DID NOT CHECK TEH OTEHER 3 BUILDINGS

THEY DID NOT PASS THE ONE TAHT WAS AFFECTED..

THE GAS COMPANY CAME –AND THE MANAGEMENT IS SUPPOSEDLY HAVING THE 1 HEATER FIXED

ITS NOT AN FD ISSUE UNTIL THERE IS AN EMERGENCY–I AM TRYING TO PREVENT THE EMERGENCY BY HAVING TEH OTEHRS CHECKED

no one checked teh otehr 3–how could they have been passed?

The fire department is already on it. If they passed the building no other department will get involved.
