Question by : Are there any recording companies that would take my style of music?
I’m only 14 and I’m having TONS of issues trying to find a company in San Antonio that would take my voice. I can sing soft songs like Let Go by Frou Frou and have a voice similar to Tarja Turunen. I’m only singing covers at the moment. Please help me out.

As you might know, selling your voice is tough. How many contestants of American Idol really made it? Even the winners have to work at selling their music.

Delightful as it sounds, being successful in the music industry, is extremely tough. Music execs don’t give a hoot who you sound like. Music producers are in it for money. Wannabes are a dime a thousand. No profit in singing other singers’ hits, either.

Serious results = hard work.
