Anyone who spent time in the military can tell you, if it’s not on paper it doesn’t count. Basically, if the other party decides to back out on their side of the contract and you try and take action against them, through the courts or arbitration, it will be your word against their’s. This is assuming you have no impartial witnesses to back you up.
