Question by HN: How do phone upgrades and contract extensions work in an existing contract?
Okay, so I’ll try to make this as clear and quick as I can 🙂

I have about a year and 6 months left on my contract with T-mobile. If I were to upgrade my phone and get the phone discount by signing another two-year contract, how would that work? Would my contract just “refresh” and I’d have 2 years to go, or would it add on to my existing contract and I’d have 3 years and 6 months to go?

Your contract would refresh and the 2 years would restart.
