Hi. If I create 3d cartoon that I want to mass produce do I just find a company that will mass produce it for me. Do they need to know what software I used, licence for that software, where music was taken from. How do i get bar code etc . Is there a book that tell u step by step what to do.

To produce such a large project, you need to hire companies. Many of these companies and/or people are in what are called Guilds. LIke the Actors, Writers, and Directors Guild.
You also need production companies to sponsor you, unless you have enough money or self. You an try a normal loaning company, but it’s not as easy or safe as a production company. However a production company is very strict, and only picks a fair few out of hundreds.
If you want to do some of it on your own here’s a list of software/hardware that are standard in the Film industry:

Post Production:
Macs are standard, but you can also use PCs.
-Editing:
Mac: Final Cut Pro
PC: Avid
-3D graphics:
Maya or Lightwave
-Compositing:
Combustion
Mac or Linux: Shake
that’s just a simple list, but you can make pretty good independent films with out all that junk, you don’t need a mass produced film, to have it go big. Many small films in film festivals are so good that studios buy them and release them into theaters.
