Q&A: Renting A Home Contract Agreement Question?

Question by William William: Renting A Home Contract Agreement Question?
If you rent an individuals home, and you sign a contract with him/her for two years, and the BANK takes over his/her home for whatever reason, is the contract the tenants had with the OWNER no longer valid?

If so, I have two questions:

1.) Can the bank evict the tenants?

2.) If so, how much time do they give the tenants to move?

No that contract is STILL valid. You still have to pay rent for every day that you live there. Sometimes banks will give you like 90 days to move and they might give you some sort of compensation, but the landlord defaulting on HIS obligation has no bearing on your contract to live there.
