What does “Contract” or “Contract Deep” mean?

Question by IDontKnowWhoThatIs: What does “Contract” or “Contract Deep” mean?
If someone says that a relationship is “contract deep” what exactly does that mean?

EX: I heard from Bob’s cousin that Bob and LuAnn’s relationship is contract deep.

I took it to mean that two people or a group of people are “friends” or together for whatever reason because it’s strictly business…they HAVE to be. But then I thought about a marriage being a form of contract soooo…I’m confused.

Silly I know, but I want to use this term in the correct way. It’s fun 🙂

It could mean that their relationship is not just shallow but rather deep. And it is deep to the point of making a contract, e.g. getting married.

Business people use business English outside the business world. Oh, wait, there is no other world for some of them.

More charitably, if two business people are talking, they will use terms common to them.
