Question. I worked with someone I knew for years in the music industry. He introduced one of his good friends to me to create a song together. His friend and I wrote a song together along with someone else. Anyways the friend told me and the other person he would submit the song to get placed. For the past couple months I have not been doing music due to other reasons. Anyways I was cursing thru facebook and saw the guy I wrote the song with. We were friends on Facebook prior, and I asked him if their were any updates on the song we did together. The next day I get an email from( the guy I worked with for years) stating it’s a violation to contact his contact without contacting him first. I have never heard of that. I wrote a song with his friend we should be able to communicate freely. Was I wrong? There’s no paperwork I have no manager. Was he just being an ass?

he is just an a** as there is no paperwork and u can contact whoever u want
