1. when President Hoover ordered the Army to open fire on world war i veterans protesting their discrimination killing 3,000 of them on the capitol lawn.
2. After world war ii and korea most vets were denied disability compensation without cause that included paralyzed vets.
3. After Vietnam vets were denied payment for injuries for no reason, called baby killers, murdered, spit on, denied college admission, and discriminated against when applying for a job.
4. Now vets have been killed at bus stops for being war vets, denied employment based veteran status, stop lossed past their contract period, forced to serve with injuries such as missing limbs, and stone walled by the VA when they try to get help.
Let me give you my story I was in the for Army 7 years, and was forced to stay in with a bad lung disease and prosthetic leg. After that I decided to not stay in because my units keeping me in was a wink and nod with medical any way causing me allot of pain. This was common as every unit has 4 to 12 people who technically should be out. The after effect was a war that my unit played to keep me in as I come from a very small high demand MOS
After my chain of command exhausted all threats to make me reenlist including a fake criminal case that was laughed out by JAG they tried to differ my remaining 11 months in IRR to active and then stop loss me to keep me in. My secret weapon was 68 days of leave to throw off their time table with HRC but my commander denied my leave 3 times without reason. My operations sergeant channeled it to brigade and it got approved. Note there were 30 people in my company and my commander was a O-5.
When I got out the Army liaison tried to alter my medical records and they tried to say I had the leg clearly I did not have. I finally called both my senator and congressman and they found out the Army liaison had arranged to send my claim to Salt Lake City. Another scandle soon after broke and with my real records in hand caused them to back off.
When I tried to get a job I was turned away even though I have 7 years Army experience, experience 5 years corporate experience, a MBA, and Honorable discharge with a RE code of 1 I was looked at like a child molester.

Well, Will can you hang all of them. That is why they just override them and do nothing and that is only if you scream murder.
It is a fact President Hoover ordered the Army to shoot them.
