Copyright is a government enforced legal monopoly power to determine who gets to use the copyrighted material. You need the permision of the copyright owner, or his agent to use or publish (including online) copyrighted material.
An extreme example is that for years, Irving Berlin’s copyright for “God Bless America” prohibited solo perfomance by anyone but Kate Smith.
Yes you can get in trouble for publishing copyrighted material online, even if you ear transcribed it yourself.
