From carriers other than Verizon what smartphone / feature phone would you recommend?

Question by Kiwi: From carriers other than Verizon what smartphone / feature phone would you recommend?
Currently i’ve been looking into blackberry storm and other verizon phones but my contract’s up and I decided to give it a little change. i want touchscreen with wide enough screen, fast web browsing, easy texting, im, gps, quality camera, and convenient music/video transfer/download. iphone’s been out too long and i heard it pretty much sucks. also i think it would be annoying if you had to open it up for keyboard, like the quickfire or G1, unless it’s something like blackberries. are samsung’s feature phones nice? please give me the names of the phones and the carriers.

The Samsung Instinct from Sprint is pretty awesome. It’s all touch screen with an amazing landscape keyboard for texting. It also has a 2MP camera, comes with 2 batteries, a charging dock for the second battery, a case, a data cable and a 2GB memory card. The voicemail is awesome too because when you go to your voicemail it brings up a list of the time and person who left the voicemail. You can delete voicemails without listening to them or pick and choose which ones to listen to. Sprint’s rate plans are pretty inexpensive compared to Verizon and AT&T also. You can get an Everything Data plan with 450 anytime minutes for 69.99. That gives you unlimited mobile to mobile, night and weekends at 7, unlimited text, picture and video messaging, as well as unlimited email, web surfing, tv and music premier, and Spring Navigation (which is awesome).
