I just bought myself a copy of Porcupine Tree’s ‘Fear of a Blank Planet’ on vinyl. Thought I would do a couple of videos of it playing. dl.dropbox.com Way out of Here Filmed on a DV Camera (JVC). PCM Audio until youtube encodes it. Pioneer SA-710 Amplifier (oldschool, got my hands on this for free) Turntable is my brothers, he says the cartridge needs replacing, but I’m not so sure now its plugged into a decent amp/preamp. Speakers are from our old JVC hifi. (sp-md9) I love vinyl, it makes music feel special again, unlike digital distribution and simple playback which loses all sense of occasion. I do still like my digital music though don’t get me wrong. I do have Daft Punk’s discovery on vinyl. I might do an upload of that at some point.
