Would you consider this worth reading?

Question by shake_it_up2008655: Would you consider this worth reading?
It is a book about a band. The beginning starts with right before they perform at the school talent show, which they win. They go on to play a couple more shows, and at one show, they get noticed by a music producer who signs them on. The music producer quickly helps the band to the top with lots of concerts, a music video, and other things. Their career moves very fast. Soon, though, rumors start circulating about the band. While it does up the publicity with their loyal fans who defend them, it also brings along bad publicity. The lead singer, Cole, who is the main character, gets really weird about things, mostly because some of the rumors are specifically about him. The band starts fighting. One day Cole overhears their producer talking on the phone about how the rumors were a great idea and how much publicity the band was getting. Cole confronts the producer, who says if he exposes him, he will destroy the band. Cole, wanting to keep the band together, keeps silent and falls in an anger/depression mood which only begins to tear the band apart more. The night of their biggest show yet, Cole disappears and the band can’t find him. He goes to a rooftop and considers jumping because he just can’t take the pressure, but he doesn’t. He gets angry about everything that has happened, including being stalked and those same stalkers hurting his mother(nothing too serious though), and he takes off for the concert. He gets there with only half a minute before they go on. Once Cole is on stage, before he starts singing, he calls the producer out there to ‘thank’ him. Then, in front of everyone, he exposes the producer for all he has done and then fires him. The band does their own original songs instead of the emotionless stuff the producer made them do. After the concert, Cole apologizes to the band and they start repairing everything that had been done. They also get a new producer and a seperate manager, Cole’s stepfather. What do you think? sorry so long….
Well, my alternate idea was actually for them to come in second to another band at the talent show. Then they make it big and the band who got first doesn’t. Kinda the ironic thing going on there. I’m still writing the talent show scene though, and I haven’t done much progress on it. So I’m not sure how it will turn out. Thanks to everyone who took the time to read and reply!
