Would this be considered a violation of contract?

Question by Alvin: Would this be considered a violation of contract?
You know, I’ve been to fests and seens concerts where singers and musicians have had bottles and other dangeous objects thrown at them, and on occassion have read about singers such as Fred Durst actually being struck and seriously injured by hurled objects.
Out of curiousity, would a singer face civil legal consequences if he decides to end his concert immediately when rowdy participants began to hurl objects at him and the band? I don’t think anything is really worth the risk of serious injury of being hit by God knows what.
