Will my possible salary be worth the high tuition? Berklee School of Music (Producer/Session Guitarist)?
Question by chickensaladsoup: Will my possible salary be worth the high tuition? Berklee School of Music (Producer/Session Guitarist)?
I might be going to Berklee music school, but I’m wondering if it is worth the cost. After financial aid, my 4 year total will be around $ 100,000. I might possibly get a scholarship ranging from $ 4,000 – $ 8,000 a year, which would lower me to $ 68,000 – $ 84,000. I will have a major in both Music Production/Engineering and Music Management/Business. I also plan on doing side jobs as a session guitarist and maybe even having some original solo projects or band projects. I also plan on staying in Boston. Besides the original projects, do you think that I would make enough as a producer and session guitarist (with management potential) for this to be worth it?
Not a film producer. Music.
