Why Was Donnie on Making The Band 4 offered a solo contract?

Question by CaliA: Why Was Donnie on Making The Band 4 offered a solo contract?
I would like to know why Donnie of all eliminated contestants was offered a solo contract? What was so special about him? He couldn’t dance or sing that well. If he was offered a contract everyone eliminated on the show that night should have got one. Or, Mike should be the one to get a solo contract.

Yea, I agree. But I think Donnie would’ve been better off in the band, instead of solo. The only reason I can say Diddy picked him to be solo because Donnie had a big fanbase and he didn’t want to anger alot of fans if Donnie was let go.

My choice of people to make the band were: Brian A., Quanell, Donnie, Big Mike, & Robert.

Willie or Brian H. should’ve gotten a solo contract instead.
