Which Record Labels receive unsolicited material?

I want to send some demos to different Labels and I don’t have an agent. so which Labels receive unsolicited material ?

Believe it or not, all if them IF you send a 1 page letter directly to the A&R rep asking permission to send them a demo from your band with an SASE that they can send back to you or a voice mail. You will get about a 10% response rate if your letter gives them enough of a reason to respond for instance you have sold cds on your own, been on a local radio station top 10, etc. After they get your letter and reply to you then your CD becomes “solicited”. Sometimes they even give you a special code to put on the envelope.
