Which computer is superior for music, vocal and video production…macs or windows based pc’s?

Question by John S: Which computer is superior for music, vocal and video production…macs or windows based pc’s?
I plan on running pro tools recording software and plan on producing voice over work as well as vocal commercials, music production and remixes and some video editing and original creations…I get a split opinion please tell me why you fell either or is superior….

This is the one area where I feel that macs outperform PCs. I would definitely recommend a mac if that is what you are using it for.
