where do u find abstracts from certain articles?

i am looking for a website to get abstracts for certain articles for my psychology class. please help. also does anyone know an online site to read the book for class? they sold out of the book i need for music and have a text friday on it. thank you for your time!
The music book is called American Popular Music- from Minstrelsy to MTV by Larry Starr and Christopher Waterman. The articles I need to find are The Overtraining Syndrome: A Multicontextual Assessment and Time to alcohol dependence after abstinence and first drink.

Generally, if you go to www.google.com and type in your main question/idea/theme, you get pretty lucky most of the time. Would have been helpful to have more specific info, especially regarding the text book.

Just saw your additional info – so here’s what I found out:
The book is available at Barnes & Noble, Amazon has it as well, chances are you can get your library to get their hands on it for you.
