Question by JIm F: Where could I play music for money?
Where could I go to play music where people would give me some cash or spare change? All my money has to go to bills, and right now I have about 4 dollars. I got a really great chance at getting a recording contract. At my last gig a record producer I have talked to before asked me to come to Nasvhville for a few days (3 hours away) in July. I cannot afford this at all. I am going to donate plasma and by the time I leave I’ll have $ 60.00 from that but I need a lot more for gas/ hotel cost (Ill bring my food). what public places could I play music for some pocket change or something? or what other ways can I get some cash. I have 3 weeks. This could be my big break.

You could try a busy upscale shopping district (not a mall) and get permission from the nearby shop(s) if you could play for a few hours.
