Where can I start to become a music producer/rapper?

Question by c.g1779: Where can I start to become a music producer/rapper?
I am a 16 year old that is looking to get into the music industry. I need to know where to start, what I need, and how to get noticed out there. Please give me the most advice possible, so that I can pursue my dreams further.

1) You must be able to rap lol!
2) Write lyrics-all the time, everywhere!
3) Add beats, record your songs!
4) Give your mixtape(s) to radio stations, online, youtube etc.
5) Rap battles always improve your cred
6) Keep battling, writing and releasing your music and hopefully you could get recognised!
