What’s the difference between prepaid and no contract phone plans?

Question by Lisa Freak: What’s the difference between prepaid and no contract phone plans?
I want to get a no contract phone but prepaid seems to be cheaper..
Which one cost more? I know with prepaid you can just buy minute card do you do the same with a no contract phone plan
Another question : if I get a no contract phone will I get a monthly bill charged to my credit card?

i think prepaid cost more…but depending on how much you use your minute card.
