What should I major in?
Question by Mr. Smith: What should I major in?
I’m a sophomore, almost a junior, and have still not picked a major. Help me pick from these 3 ideas.
I’ve loved to sing all my life, it is a passion of mine. I thought about majoring in music, but what I would want to do is be in a band and get a recording contract – make music. I am not sure I am really good enough to be professional, and would i really need a degree for such a thing anyway?
I’ve also thought about psychology because it is interesting and I’d like to help people with their problems as a counselor ; but at the same time, I am not sure I’d enjoy doing that day in and day out for the rest of my life.
I love to experience the world and new cultures. I’ve thought about going into the travel industry just because I think I would never be bored and I could wake up everyday looking forward to my job. Traveling the world would make me happy (maybe as a flight attendant on a plane)?
What do u think? What should i major in? Which of the 3 is most secure? Do i need a degree

you could always double major in psychology and politcal science….. or major in psych…and minor in poly sci & music…
