What profession options do I have with strong interests in music and math – jobs where I could feed myself?
Question by Roy: What profession options do I have with strong interests in music and math – jobs where I could feed myself?
Music is my passion (performing for 12 years) and I find great joy in mathematics and some physics as well. What career options could I have where I could aspire to make a comfortable living with a reliable job? I’m sorry this is so specific, but does anyone have any experience down this road? Thanks!
Also, I am a junior in high school, so I do have some time for preparation in fields/classes I have overlooked.

Have you considered teaching? With a major in math, physics, or computer science (a field which incorporates a lot of math), a minor in music, and a teaching certificate, you’d be very employable. There’s always a need for good teachers.
