I’m nearly graduated University, and I kind of wanted to take a master degree. My University major right now is Animation Art, and some how I want to keep on doing something in this industry since I kind of into art.
In the opposite side my dad is kind of not showing much support. He is saying that artists always end up famous when they are dead. I figured that it might be true, since I don’t want to be a suborned little cornered artist, and I kind of want to get some education on business too. I’ve figured that media management might be the best choice, since it’s about art and managing stuff about art.
However, is there any other choice? I really could not think of one. I was wondering if I could go to Vancouver film school to take the movie director major, but than no one would support me, since the tuition fee is like sky high, and my dad is kind of against it. I also do not have a super high score, so I think that scholarship is not within my reach…
I’m just trying to reach an agreement with my dad too, like a major that fits both of our interest.
(It’s like a family tradition, that people always take master degree before they actually go to do the real work… but I happend to be a family f*ck up and not having good scores. Some How my dad wanted to help me, but it kinda needs to be a major that both of us could agree on.)
By the way I could just create a movie script like on a bottle of liquor, or when having bad dream while sleeping. Like if you want me to make some animation characters, I could make a hundreds of them in an hour and could continue like noun stop… I think deep in my heart I’m really into these stuff… but dear old papa just don’t agree… I mean if he don’t agree on this how am I gonna get paid for school… Sigh…
