What kind of jobs are available related to music?
Question by Josh P.: What kind of jobs are available related to music?
I’m a music fanatic. I Love listening, analyzing, organizing, and criticizing music. I have a broad taste in music, so I listen to varieties of genres from American, British, Japanese, Korean songs. I love sharing my musical taste with people, and they have been telling me I have good taste in music and love my selections most of the time.
The thing is, I’m 21 years old and I’m on a path where I need to decide what I want to do. I’m currently preparing to transfer to Film/Television related Universities, but I’ve been having second thoughts about that major as well. I’ve been asking myself, “I love music, and isn’t there any other way to be part of the music industry without being capable of playing instruments professionally?”
So to get to the bottom line, what kind of jobs are available for a person like me in the music business, and what can I do to achieve it? What kind of education do i need, and what do I need to do in order to work on something I really do enjoy?
