Question by Me: what jobs are in the music industry?
I don’t want to be a singer but i think it would be cool to be in the music industry. But would you get to travel? That is something really important to me and all the careers i looked up for traveling don’t pay well or don’t suit me. I’d actually like to move to Asia and am thinking of learning either Japanese or Korean. I’m in high school right now and I want to pick classes that will help me and i heard for some jobs in music you should learn how to use computers really well and there are business classes…. so what should I do? Oh yeah and I’d like answers to the original question lol.
I think the music industry in asia is great. I’d rather go there because i prefer their music to american music. I want to work in music but with music i like.

You could work as a sound engineer, but that takes lots of schooling (not to mention continual schooling to keep up with new technology). That doesn’t pay very well anyhow.
Another option is to be a professional musician. In order to do that, you MUST have talent, and you MUST be very good at what you do, practicing hours on end each day. Even then, you need to have a good agent notice you and help you. Most, emphasis on most, musicians don’t become famous enough to make it a decent living.
Those are the top two.
