What jobs are in the music industry?

Question by Bass Baby: What jobs are in the music industry?
I have to have a paper to give to my school on what I want to do with my life. I want to work in the music industry. I know there is the whole ‘rock star’ job, but in not really into that. I was thinking on working for a record company. How hard would it be to be a talent scout, tour manger? any training needed? What other jobs are out there? I don’t want to be a producer, or a booking agent. Surly there are other jobs to of the music biz, but what?

Check out Berklee College of Music in Boston. They have a great variety of educational programs for people interested in making music a career, not just for musicians either.
