Question by cupidgirl: what is the industry’s fair standard % contracted to a recording studio?
If the music or voice track you recorded there goes public & begins selling? Do some studios just do the recording for a one-time rate & thats it?

Usually the recording studio just gets paid for the recording itself and if needed mastering. They get no percentage of sales. The price of the studio depends on the equipment and experience of the audio engineer.
