What is the budget for a PR company to promote music?
Question by Bradley: What is the budget for a PR company to promote music?
We’ve set up a Management company and have partnered with a PR company, we’ve been asked what our budget is for :
Press
Radio
Remixes
I’m not sure what sort of budget we’re looking at here, can someone please help me, I would really appreciate any good help.
Thanks

This falls under the category of how much can you afford…large labels spend millions of dollars on promotions. Small labels spend much much less. Why not sit down with the PR company, tell them you have no set budget, but really don’t want to go over $ XX and ask them to come up with a few different mixes on how to spend that amount.
