I know that the music industry has been turned upside down with the rise of the internet and reduces the need for a contract with a big time label. I would like to release some material for download…what are the most popular sites to post music for unsigned artists? What are the steps?

try purevolume.com. i hear a lot of new artists on there, but idk if they have an option to allow people to download the stuff.
