Question by Kier: what classes or what degree do you need to become a music producer?
i know that you don’t have to get a degree to become a music producer but what classes could you take in collerge or university to help you become a music producer. I’m big into making all sorts of music like electo, pop, techno, hip hop… so what courses will teach you in how to make beats?
and also will they teach you how to literally make your own beats like how to make the devices or make chips that are your own created beats?

Music school. Any college which offers a degree in Fine Arts.
I really don’t think you need a college degree to do what you want to do. The classes they would require you to take would bore you to the point of oblivion.
You evidently are already a very creative person, so what is the point of spending your time and money having someone else tell you how to do it their way for a grade?
I’m sure you’ve heard this one before. It goes something along the lines of, “Those who can, do. Those who can’t, teach.”
