I’m looking for colleges near chicago that offer a Bachelors Degree program in the field of Music Production.

They aren’t terribly close, but for what they do, I think MTSU (Middle Tennessee State University) is a good bet. They are a public university located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and their department of recording industry is one of the foremost in the country. They are, however, rather cutthroat when it gets to the upper-level music production classes, so you need to be good at what you do to get a degree in that field from there.
