i currently go to Northeastern University in Boston. Northeastern is great for music industry majors and music production etc. the school gives the option of a 5 year program (b/c the school has you doing internships and jobs in your major) or a 4 year program (just classes, without the job experience.)

just down the road is Berklee school of music, which is also great for music students with a modern influence rather then classical. im sure they have music production there, but i would check out both schools’ websites.

the area is great as well, if you can take the winter, and you should definitely look into the schools if the area interests you.
