What are some jobs in the music publishing business?
by Ed Yourdon
Question by gniknus: What are some jobs in the music publishing business?
I write music and know how to do “Finale” computer program. I want a job that’s steady, but that I don’t have to “take home” at the end of the day. I need to have time to write my own music. Got any ideas?

You could try writing to major music publishers to ask if they need anyone in the engraving section. Publishers have to set new music for publication all the time and so your experience might well be useful. I don’t know what country you’re in but of you do a bit of nifty search engine work you should be able to find any music publishers in your area.
