What are some goodways for me to sell my music online?

Question by mack: What are some goodways for me to sell my music online?
I heard that itunes only takes one time fees for albums, or singles, but i also heard that it takes a percentage of your sales. What are some other ways, and sites to sell my stuff that wont take so much of my money?

I don’t recommend the methods the other person suggested because:
1) MySpace/ITunes take a huge chunk of the profits. You might as well build your own store and just create a link from your MySpace to it. Also, when you have physical CDs, shirts, stickers, etc., you won’t be able to sell those directly through MySpace.
2) I’ve never seen an artist be able to sell music downloads straight through PayPal where the MP3s automatically get sent to the customer.
3) Building your own store can be difficult if you don’t know what you’re doing.

There is a site (www.myfavoriteband.com) that is free to put an unlimited number of products up, and doesn’t profit from your sales either. The only % taken out of your sales is for PayPal’s minimal fees (about 2.9% which will be wayyy lower than iTunes/MySpace). You can build your store and change the design quite simply, and you can also add band info if you want. I’d recommend checking that out.
