Im looking to get into music production, im not sure if any of you have used the ableton software which is compatible with PC and Apple, is it any good? Better than Logic Pro which is only compatible with Appple?

I certainly hope you’ve looked at Pro Tools as well.
If you do go with a PC, be certain it has onboard Firewire with a good chipset. Firewire is all over the place in pro audio production.
