To Censor Or Not to Censor?
Question by J-Luv The Bunny: To Censor Or Not to Censor?
My boyfriend/ fiance is an upcoming rapper he laid a track just for me & his best friend/ producer says he has to edit it b/c its “too direct” & “too personal” & he cant post it anywhere online where he promotes his music ie: Myspace until then, he has to “think of his fans” They dont have a formal contract/deal, just two buddies who lay tracks together one makes the beats vocals etc and my b/f is the lyricist Now b/f the guy said a thing he was gonna post it and leave the track as is What’s really good w/ that I mean if he laid the track especially for me & our relationship is public and family knows & we’re planning to get married whats the big deal Relationship will be put out there regardless I told him if you have to edit the track dont even use it anywhere b/c I dont feel its right esp since the song was a gift and token of his love & affection for me so burn it to cd give it to me as is or forget about giving it all I’m kinda hurt & angry he never hides/censors anything about us
oh by the way I almost forgot to say that my name is on the track…but does that even make a difference should that even matter?

Well, if Eminem could make it with killing his wife, how bad can it be? He just has to make other tracks that he CAN promote!
Part of making it IS about selling out…
