i LOVE music and have 12 years experience on piano with 8 years classical training… i would LOVE LOVE LOVE to be in a band again .. but not many people in my area like metal (my genre) …im also very business minded… i know it will be a TON!!!!! of work to get a double major.. and ill have to go at least one extra year… but i have SUCH a passion for music….. i dont really want to just minor in it.. and business is a GREAT fallback .. and i want to own my own business .. i would like to work with a music lable .. recruiting/ managing bands

Well I would say music is a fallback, and an unstable fallback at that. I think you might want to change your thinking a bit. Music is such an unpredictable industry where only a select few get to really profit from it. Business, however, provides you with a more concrete skill set. I would say major in business and minor in music. But, don’t lose that passion that you have for it.
