Classic revival tune… Marcia Aitken was relatively unknown until she linked with Joe Gibbs and released this track in 1977, which was originally an Alton Ellis hit. Her version reached No: 1 in JA and also did extremely well here in the UK and the USA. She followed through with another No.1 hit ‘My Man’ recorded with Trinity in 1978, and scored several more hits before leaving the music business in 1981. Marcia Aitken then moved to the USA where she eventually embarked on obtaining a degree in Business Management.
