KIRK DOUGLAS ROCHESTER BIOGRAPHY Kirk Douglas Rochester, ‘Krack skull’, was born on December 24, 1966 to mother Wintlet Waugh and father Kirkwood Rochester at the Kingston Jubilee Hospital. In his early years he lived in the hills of William’s Field, St. Elizabeth before moving to Red hills Road in Kingston at the age of nine. He attended the Red hills all-age school where he began to showcase his talent in music by performing for his peers. This phase of his life marked the beginning of his journey into the music industry. In 1998, Kirk received an offer from his colleague Craig Levy to become the newest member of the musical group ‘hotta flex’ which consisted of three existing members including Craig Levy himself. The group wasn’t in the spotlight as yet but Kirk showed his enthusiasm and accepted the offer. The group began to perform in minor shows in the Seaview Gardens community before deciding to record a song at the Big Ship studio in Havendale. During their recording sessions at the studio, renowned producer /singer, Freddy Macgregor became fascinated with their talent and zeal. After they completed recording their first single ‘The sky is the limit’ at the big ship studio, Freddy Macgregor offered them the opportunity to be signed to his recording label. Just after a few months of joining the group, Kirk and the rest of the members of Hotta flex entered into a three year contract with Freddy Macgregor and this marked the beginning of Kirk’s professional music
