Audit

Overview:

Customers may request the right to audit specific aspects of Project/ Product/ Services Organization’s operations to ascertain that its contract is being performed in accordance with its terms.  While such requests may appear reasonable use caution to ensure that the customer receives only contract-specific information as will reasonably evidence performance in accordance with applicable terms.  Examples of audits include quality-control to confirm contracted quality; a review of inventory intended for those products for which the customer is paying; or a confirmation of direct labor hours to make certain they are in line with hours charged under time and material contracts and cost type contracts.  Under no circumstance, however, should
