i am a really good singer but how do i get an agent or a recording contract or how do i even get in the studio to make a sample song?

Answer by Mawkish Well, if your voice is good you should be able to simply record yourself singing (a cheap PC microphone will do) and set it to some backing music. Producers will hear dozens of wannabe singers every day, so you have to do something to stand out. One tactic is to sing an original composition.

As it happens, I am looking for a singer. Have a listen to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DGLSXQH-ug and tell me what you think. If you like the music and want to sing to it, let me know and we’ll arrange something. Then, you can burn the track to a CD and post it around. Hopefully they’ll hear something special.
