I hate to tell you, but you can’t just ask for a record deal on Yahoo Answers. Getting a contract takes many hard working years of practice and promotion. My advice would be to:
Make some videos and put them online
Sing at any local events
Get a strong fan base
Eventually make a CD to sell/give away
Send a demo tape to a record company
