Q&A: Why are macs better for music production than pcs?
Published February 25, 2011
Question by Parker B: Why are macs better for music production than pcs?
I guess that’s what I keep hearing. I have a mac myself, and it’s great for music production, but I’m having discussions with a friend and he’s a stubborn pc user and hates macs. So what are the technical aspects? I’m computer literate, so don’t skimp on the details.

Technical aspects… there isn’t any “technical” reasons why Macs are better. However, most music production software is designed for Mac primarily with Windows versions almost as an afterthought. As such, the software tends to work better on Mac.
