Its so obvious apple, microsoft, sony, all of them hate us!!!
They always say 1GB=1,000,000,00 bytes when in actuality they are 1,073,741,824 bytes.
You know how that works, when you plug in your 30GB iPod for the first time and it only has 27 GB.
After a while it adds up!!

wait…ur saying theres more bytes than they say…
yea a billion bytes is 0.931322575 of a gigabyte
and ur right, 1,073,741,824 bytes is a gigabyte
so the first # times 30 would be 27.93967725, and yes that is less than 30gigs
i guess they are just rounding it in the description for people who dont like to read long numbers and prefer a long line of zeroes. who knows
