I was at work at the time. I was working in the data update department for a book publishing company and with that type of job everyone is allowed to wear headphones and listen to music because its nothing but typing all day. So because of that all of us in that department found out at the sometime and that something was very wrong. I will never forget the expressions on everyones face and the panic. I remember they closed the entire company for the rest of the day and sent everyone home. I had to drive a co-worker home and I remember when we were driving down the expressway we both was looking up at the sky in panic hoping we werent about to be bombed. We thought war had broke out in the states! I hope I never have to feel that way again, it was aweful 🙁

I was 6 months pregnant with my son, who’s now 5.

I woke up, saw on Yahoo News, plane into tower, I figured, eh, stupid drunk, went to sleep for another hour or so.

Got on the Internet a couple hours later and at this one forum I used to post on, people were saying “Turn on the TV,” etc.

Kind of took a while for it to all sink in there….
