I picked up a great book at Amazon, called Music Law. My husband and I are both lawyers and we help a few of our musician friends out. This book is wonderful and even has a CD with forms. Of course, the book is no substitution for real legal advice, especially if you are dealing with represented parties. You’ll save money up front, but pay down the road.
