Question by Alex Matos: What should i do in this situation? need help if your a musician or in the music business?
alright i got an email from a guy named peter weintraub whose a founder and talent representative at power wire entertainment heres the email:
Alex,
My name is Peter Weintraub and I’m a talent representative from Power Wire Entertainment (PWE). One of my clients is a 17 year old phenom named Sam Haiman, and he’s playing a show at the Stone Pony on 10/24. He had a backing band set up for the show, but unfortunately, they aren’t taking it seriously. They routinely show up late for practices and haven’t learned any of the music (all originally written by Sam himself).
We need to find a reliable bassist who will take this gig (and possibly beyond) seriously, so if you’re interested in scheduling a conference call with myself and Sam before a try-out, please feel free to e-mail me back at your earliest convenience.
Sam is also looking to tour so if you impress and perform well on 10/24, you could be involved for the long-term.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I look forward to hearing from you!

Contact him! It’s only a conference call. You can continue to research him on the web. It’s all in NJ, so you don’t have a lot to lose.
