Question by Clifton M: What should I do in college before I pursue a career in the music industry?
My eventual plans for the future are to get a job producing instrumental music and laying tracks on CDs in the music industry. However as may people know, I need something a little more stable to major in in college and do to make money right after college. Do maybe any music producers or anyone with any knowledge of this have an idea of a good career and college path to keep me on the road to the music industry, but one that is secure??

Think about business. You basically are planning on owning your own business someday. Most schools offer entrepreneurial classes to help small business owners.
